For clinics already using MyDMD

MyDMD has been rebuilt.

Same product, same people, rewritten from scratch after years of watching how clinics actually use it. Your data comes with you, your price is held for a year, and the time you’ve already paid for carries over. This page tells you everything that changes — including the parts you won’t like.

Do you need to do anything today?

No. Keep using the app exactly as you do now. When it’s your clinic’s turn to move, you’ll get an email and a button will appear inside the app you already use.

How the move works

  1. 1

    Nothing changes yet

Keep working exactly as you do now. Your clinic stays on the version you’re using until it’s your turn.

  2. 2

You’ll be told when it’s your turn

Clinics move in waves. When yours is ready you’ll get an email, and a Migrate button appears inside the app you already use.

  3. 3

You start it — nobody else does

You press the button and confirm by email. Until you confirm, nothing moves.

  4. 4

A short pause while data moves

The old app locks for one to three hours so nothing can be edited in two places at once. You’ll see live progress.

  5. 5

You land on the new MyDMD

Log in, invite your team, and carry on. The old app then points everyone at the new one.

The whole move starts from inside the app you already use — there’s no separate link to bookmark, and nobody can start it on your behalf.

What comes with you

What stays behind

Four things don’t transfer. None of them are clinical records, but you should know before you move rather than after.

Past appointments

Only upcoming confirmed ones move. The clinical record of what was actually done lives in the treatment records, and those all come with you.

Past commission payouts

The new app calculates commissions as payments arrive, but the old payout history stays in the old system.

Old SMS logs

The message history doesn’t transfer. Your unspent SMS credit does — see below.

Your team’s logins

Staff are invited again rather than moved, so nobody arrives with a password that came from another system.

What happens to your price

The new plans cost more than the old ones. That is a real change and we’re not going to bury it — so here is exactly how it applies to you.

Your price is held for one year

From the day you move, you keep paying what you pay today — including old price levels that aren’t sold any more. Not the new price. Yours.

Your clinic’s size is held too

Your dentists, patient records and storage are measured on the day you move, and you keep at least that much for the whole year — even where it’s more than the new plan normally includes. Nothing you already have gets locked away.

Time you’ve already paid for is honoured

Your first renewal lands on the date you were already paid up to — not sooner. Unused days become peso credit against future renewals.

You get 60 and 30 days’ notice

Before the held year ends, you’re told twice, with the new figure in writing. No silent change to a bigger amount.

The old prices and the new ones

Per month. This is what you move towards after your held year, not what you pay on day one.

Plan Previously Now Dentists
Starter ₱400 ₱600 1 → 1
Basic ₱700 ₱900 2 → 2
Pro ₱1,000 ₱1,300 6 → 8

One other change to the billing

Biannual billing is gone.

The old app billed quarterly, biannually, or annually. The new one is quarterly or annual only. If you pay every six months today, you’ll pick one of those two when your held year ends.

Two limits went the other way. Team members used to be capped at 1 to 6 people — they’re now unlimited on every plan. And Pro’s patient records stay unlimited, exactly as they are today.

What isn’t built yet

2 things the old app had that the new one doesn’t have yet. We’d rather you knew now.

SMS

MyDMD sends appointment email, not SMS. Your unspent SMS credit is frozen at your exact balance when you move and shown on your Billing page, so you don’t lose what you paid for.

Deeper reporting

You get a clinic overview and a set of finance reports you can read in the app. If you rely on a particular report today, tell us before your turn comes up.

What you get that you didn’t have

Lab cases that migrate with you

Track a case from sent to received against a lab you set up once, with turnaround days prefilling the due date. Your lab cases and labs come across in the move — including cases still at the lab.

Real multiple branches

One clinic with many locations, each with its own hours and staff — instead of a separate account per site.

Online booking

A public page where patients request appointments. Requests land in a staff inbox for review, never auto-confirmed.

Signed forms that stay put

Signed consents become PDFs with your letterhead and a reference number, sealed so an altered copy can be spotted.

Law-aware prescriptions

Generic name first per RA 6675, with PRC, PTR and S2 fields, and allergy warnings from the patient’s own history.

Double-booking protection

The old app let two patients hold the same slot. The new one warns or blocks, as you prefer.

Email reminders and recalls

Automatic confirmations and reminders, and a note’s next-visit date books the follow-up for you.

Branches that work on their own

Each branch works with its own patients. A patient who visits another branch can be found by name and brought across on purpose — so nobody re-types them, and it’s recorded when it happens.

A record of every change

Who changed what, and when — including every file opened. Nothing is ever permanently erased.

Knowing before you run out

The old app never tracked supplies at all. Each branch keeps a stock list with its own minimums, counted when it suits you rather than logged mid-appointment, and the order list writes itself. Comes with Basic and Pro.

Nothing to do yet

Carry on as normal. We’ll come to you when your clinic’s turn arrives, and everything on this page will still be true when we do.
