Ongoing treatments
Which orthodontics patient has no next visit?
A long treatment is easy to lose track of. MyDMD keeps one list of every patient in the middle of one, shows who is not booked, and tells you how much of each treatment is paid and how much is still due.
On every plan, and in your 14-day trial.
How it works
-
Step 1
Mark the treatment as ongoing
One switch in the progress note for the first visit. For patients already in treatment, mark the procedure from their notes — or let the app suggest who to add, and tick the names.
-
Step 2
See who is not booked
In Appointments, the list opens on the patients with no next visit, the ones waiting longest first, each with a phone number and a Book button beside it.
-
Step 3
Know what is paid, per treatment
Link each installment to the treatment’s first charge, and the patient’s record shows how much is still due out of the full fee. No more adding it up by hand.
Not only orthodontics
Any treatment that runs over many visits can be marked: implants, a retainer, a long restorative case. When it is done, mark it finished — completed, or stopped before it was completed — and it leaves the list. You can reopen it later.
- Each branch sees its own list
- The balance shows only to staff who may see income
- Marking a treatment never changes what a patient owes
What it won’t do
It does not message anyone. It shows you who has no next visit; calling and booking them is yours to do, one tap from the list.
And the balance per treatment is only as good as the links: a payment that is not linked to the first charge is counted for the patient, but not for that treatment.
