Check your patient emails
Confirmations and reminders are already on — this is where you check the timing.
Settings → Schedule & booking → Patient emails. Optional, and unusual on this list because it’s already working. Confirmations and reminders are on by default, so this step is about reviewing the timing rather than switching anything on.
That’s why the checklist step is called review: it completes when you’ve opened the page and saved it once.
What goes out on its own
- A confirmation when an appointment is booked, with a button the patient taps to confirm — so you can see who has actually acknowledged it
- A reminder before the appointment
What to check
The reminder timing. The right gap is the one that gives a patient enough notice to rearrange, and gives you enough notice to fill the slot if they can’t. A reminder that arrives an hour before is a courtesy; one that arrives the day before is a no-show you didn’t have.
Read the emails as a patient would. Your clinic name, your branch address, your phone number — these come from Settings → Clinic → Profile & logo, so a blank there is a blank in every reminder you send.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Schedule & booking → Patient emails.
- Read the timings and adjust anything that doesn’t match how your clinic runs.
- Save. That completes the checklist step.
