Create your clinic

Sign up, confirm your email, and get your clinic set up on the 14-day trial.

You don’t need to talk to anyone or enter a card to start. The trial runs for 14 days and nothing is charged when it ends — if you do nothing, the clinic stays readable for three more days, then waits for you to pick a plan. Nothing is deleted.

What you’ll need

  • An email address you can open right now, because you’ll be sent a confirmation
  • Your clinic’s name, as you’d want it printed on a prescription
  • A web address for your clinic — permanent, so it’s worth a moment’s thought
  • Your first branch’s full address and a contact number for it
  • Roughly what hours that branch is open

Steps

  1. Go to app.mydmdapp.com/signup.
  2. Enter your name, email and a password twice. Passwords are checked for length — at least 8 characters — rather than for punctuation gymnastics, so a long phrase you’ll remember beats P@ssw0rd!.
  3. Confirm your email. The message carries both a link and a 6-digit code, and either one works. Click the link if you’re reading mail on the same device; type the code in if you’re not, or if the link gets mangled on the way.
  4. Set up the clinic itself. This is the longest screen in the whole process, and it asks for more than its title suggests — see below.
  5. You land on the clinic overview, with a setup checklist waiting.

The one thing on that screen you can’t change later

Your clinic gets a web address — a short name that becomes part of your public booking link. It’s suggested from your clinic name, you can edit it, and once the clinic is created it is permanent. Everything else on the screen can be changed afterwards in Settings; this can’t. Pick what you’d be happy printing on a tarpaulin.

The rest of that screen: your clinic’s contact number and email (both optional), then your first branch — its name, its own contact number, and its full address down to the barangay. Last, your operating hours, which start on a sensible default you can adjust.

The branch is where patients actually come. If you only have one location, its name can simply be the clinic name again — it starts filled in as “Main”, which is fine to leave.

What you get on the trial

Everything, including Inventory. The trial’s size limits match Starter — how many dentists, patient records and gigabytes — but nothing is switched off during it.

Before you choose a plan, one thing to know: Inventory is on Basic and Pro, not Starter. If you set up a stock list during the trial and then choose Starter, it stays on screen exactly as you left it — nothing is deleted — but you can’t update the counts until you move up. Everything else is on all three plans.

What to do next

Work down the setup checklist on the overview page. Four steps are required, three are optional, and the app tells you which is which. The required four exist because the rest of the app doesn’t work without them: you can’t schedule without a dentist, the calendar can’t offer times without working hours, notes can’t price a procedure without a price list, and a payment has to land in an account.

Start with adding your team and tagging your dentists.
