Just moved from the old version?

What came across, what to do first, and where the familiar things now live.

Your clinic’s data has moved. Here’s the short orientation.

What came with you

Patient records, medical history, the dental chart, treatment records and clinical notes, payments and balances, expenses, photos and files, your price list, your payment accounts, and upcoming confirmed appointments.

What didn’t

Four things, and it’s better to hear them here than to go looking:

  • Your team stayed behind. Staff logins don’t carry across — invite them again from Settings → Team → Members. It’s the first thing to do, and it takes a few minutes.
  • Past appointments stayed behind. Upcoming confirmed ones came across; historical ones did not. The treatment record of what actually happened did come across, which is the part that matters clinically.
  • Past commission payout history stayed behind. Commission is calculated from payments as they arrive from now on.
  • Old SMS message history stayed behind. The messages themselves don’t come across. Your unspent SMS credit does — it’s frozen at the balance you had and shown on your Billing page.

Do these first

  1. Invite your teamhow. Nobody else can log in until you do.
  2. Check your dentist working hourshow. The calendar can’t offer times without them.
  3. Open your price list and spot-check a few fees — how.
  4. Check your payment accounts are the ones you actually use — how.

Your plan hasn’t changed yet

Your old price is held for a year from the day you moved, along with your clinic’s size — even where that’s more than your plan normally includes. Time you’d already paid for carries over, and you’ll get 60 and 30 days’ notice in writing before anything changes.

The full picture is on what happens to your plan.

Things that work differently

  • Double-booking: the old version let two patients hold the same slot. This one warns you, or blocks it, depending on how you set it.
  • Balances are added up from the payments behind them, so they can’t drift out of step.
  • Online booking sends requests to a staff inbox instead of straight onto the calendar — more.

Something missing?

Tell us. A clinic noticing something absent on day one is far more useful to us than finding out six weeks later, and it’s the fastest route to getting it looked at.
